The stressful everyday life makes us sometimes forget that we actually need to work our bodies for a good health and shape. When we remember, we lament ourselves that we don’t have the time to go to a gym, or any other excuse alike.
That excuse doesn’t work anymore - since nowadays home gym equipment is everywhere. All you need to do is purchase it and create an everyday routine depending on your schedule. An excellent example of a piece of equipment is a treadmill - running pad in your own home! Just start it and run along at the speed you set.
Among the hundreds of models available, a few stand out. One of these is the Landice L7 Treadmill, which in 2006 took the props for being one of the best models from its gamma. Being rated 86 out of 100, it has even been recognized by the Consumer Guide. Their makers are so confident of their product, that they offer a lifetime transferable warranty!
Among its features, we can remark:
- 20″ x 58″ belt - yes, it’s a big one - and a strong one too - most manufacturers use two-ply belts(and this is a four-ply one)
- 400 pound user capacity - this is a major advantage for most overweight people who really don’t find many products that fit their needs
- reading rack - put your favorite book there and read while you jog! Works fine for magazines too
- 15% electric elevation - if you want to run up a hill, the Landice L7 Treadmill can create the perfect environment for you - 15% at most (more than enough)
- 0.5-12 mph speed range - if you can run faster than that, you should consider trying for the olympics
This is an excellent piece of equipment, but we wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t share with you its major disadvantage: because of it had to be very steady, it had to come with a downside - it’s not foldable. That means that you need to make sure you have the room for it (33″ x 77″ footprint and 300 lbs).
As a conclusion, the Landice L7 treadmill is an excellent piece of equipment but when you decide to purchase it you should make sure you have a place destined for it. Otherwise, we suggest you to buy a fold-up treadmill since you can store it much easier.
